Honey can be used to treat minor wounds such as: burns and minor abrasions. Here is how! 1. Start with clean hands and applicators such as bandages or a sterile gauze dressing. 2. Place a small amount of honey on the dressing first and then apply the dressing to the wound. 3. Place a clean, dry dressing over the previous dressing. 4. Replace the dressing when the honey has saturated through the outer dressing. 5. Wash your hands. While raw honey has been shown to have healing properties, we always recommend to use your own judgement in the seeking of advice from healthcare professionals.
